My story
I was one of six born to a woolly mum who lived next door, but also liked to live here too. All my siblings were given away but I was brought here as my new owners fell in love with my fluffy self. Plus they thought it would be nice for my mum to have at least one of her puppies nearby. I met the sisters Peanut and Pepper who didn’t know what to make of me as I was a huge puppy! I also met Pesto, who kept me company when my mum would go back home next door. I returned the favour by stealing his little kennel my owners had made for him when he would come here in the winter. I huffed and I puffed and I stuffed myself in there. Nice and cosy, it was.

Me back when I was a midget.
Life today
I have been told I have a lovely temperament and am a very sweet-natured dog. Unfortunately, one day I got hit by a car and my jaw has never been the same. One tooth stuck out, much like Floyd’s apparently, but recently it either fell out or was knocked out as it’s no longer there and I can finally close my mouth! I also walk with a permanent limp, but this time it was my own doing. I love to jump up onto the wall that surrounds my home and jump down to go and pay a visit next door. One day I landed very badly and have not been able to walk properly since. I was taken to the vet and had X-rays done, but basically if I continue to jump down from high walls, even if this particular injury was operated on and healed, the next time I jumped down, it would be even worse. So it was decided to leave it as it is. I’ve got used to walking and running on three, or if push comes to shove, four, legs as let’s face it, I’m never going to stop jumping over the hurdle.
I love to sit and sleep on the grass, so when it comes to summer and grass seeds I’m famous for them! On many occasions I have needed a vet to get them out of all kinds of places. Luckily, I’m used to car trips and I like the vet.
My future
Hopefully I won’t get into any more trouble, but I do have a sneaky adventurous streak that encourages me to go mad.
Stats
My estimated age on arrival in 2020: one minute :)
In February 2020 I weighed 5.2 kg.
In December 2022 I weighed 33.3 kg.
I am neutered, and fully vaccinated.
Star Qualities
My woolly coat is the envy of all. When I’m brushed, I shine and twinkle – apparently.
I am very, very friendly and love people. I also love passing cars and trucks, which got me into trouble in the first place.
Despite my limp, I can run like a greyhound when I want to.
Habits
I don’t always eat when and what I’m supposed to. My owners thought maybe my jaw was causing me problems, which it did in the beginning, but not so much now. I’m just a fusspot.
I like to spend time both here and next door, where my mum occasionally lives when she’s not here. We are a pair!
